We collect nothing
P2P Chess does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app requires no accounts, uses no servers, and sends no data to us or any third party.
Data stays on your device
Match history — including room names, timestamps, and move lists — is stored locally on your device. It is not backed up to any server. Uninstalling the app removes this data.
App permissions
Local Network and Bluetooth: used to discover nearby devices running the same app and to exchange moves directly between them. No data leaves the local network connection between the two devices.
Content you share
When you use the share button to send a screenshot of the chessboard, that image is generated on your device and passed to the app you select. We do not see or retain that image.
Children
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.
